About CACSCB

The Central Arizona Chapter of the Society for Conservation Biology (CACSCB) is the local chapter of the international Society for Conservation Biology (SCB). The SCB is an organization devoted to developing the scientific and technical means for the protection, maintenance, and restoration of life on this planet - its species, its ecological and evolutionary processes, and its particular and total environment.

How to Participate

We are open to all undergraduate students. Attend bimonthly workshops to meet like minded conservation friends.

Attend Bimonthly Workshops

Twice a month, CACSCB hosts workshops to help students develop their technical skills. Topics can range from anything from compass navigation to camera trapping.

Come to Events

CACSCB hosts events that vary each semester. Events in the past have include black footed ferret spotlighting, hiking, and camping.
